I have cherished this recorder for about 5 years, and the plating on the keys is very clean considering its age. It has a straight windway, allowing for a lot of breath. Rather than a focused, dense sound, it has a soft, expansive tone. Therefore, it is more suited for ensemble playing than solo performance. The joint corks were replaced at the end of the year before last. The white parts of the joints are resin. I enjoyed using it because of its responsiveness, pleasant sound, and pitch flexibility, but I have recently replaced my ensemble recorders with a full set from YAMAHA. It would be a shame to leave this one unused, so I am putting it up for sale.
