Using lovely kimonos, he has finished it with a gorgeous and bold appearance. On the back, he used a Uchide no Kozuchi (magic mallet) and a crane kimono, hoping that good fortune will come with use. ● What is Ikkan-bari (Ikkan-bari)? Ikkan-bari (also known as Ikkan-bari) is a craft where washi paper or kimono fabric is glued onto a basket and remade. It is said that this technique was used at the time to make broken baskets usable again. Applying persimmon tannin as a finish increases water resistance and durability, allowing it to be used for a longer time. Also, as time passes, the persimmon tannin gains luster, further enhancing the sense of quality. Lightweight and durable. And no two Ikkan-bari designs are alike.
