This is an aftermarket product imported from overseas. First, regarding the "Gibson logo": it's a logo sticker made from genuine mother-of-pearl, sliced extremely thin to about 0.1mm. It's a modernized version based on the 1950s logo, and its shape is similar to the logo used on current Historic Collection guitars. It's a sticker, so you just peel off the blue backing sheet and transfer the entire sticker, including the protective sheet on the surface. When used for guitar repair, it can be applied to lacquer, poly, and other types of finishes without issue. The thickness, including the adhesive layer, is approximately 0.15mm. Next, regarding the "Les Paul decal": unlike the Gibson logo, the "Les Paul decal" is a "water-slide decal." As shown in the image, it's already cut out around the letters, so you can remove only the letters by soaking it in lukewarm water. Please search for instructions on how to use water-slide decals. There are rare cases where customers mistakenly believe it's a sticker and complain that it won't peel off after receiving the product, so please be aware of this!
