This is an HERMES scarf, a Carre 90 called LES TAMBOUS (The Drums). It was purchased in Paris about 30 years ago. The color is a deep green, reminiscent of Christmas, more so than in the photos. There are no noticeable scratches or stains, but there is one spot where the edge stitching is frayed (see photo 6), so it is listed as having some minor flaws. Tag included. It was dry cleaned and developed a musty smell, so I currently have herb mothballs in the drawer with it. Scarves are lightweight and easy to carry. If you don't like air conditioning, you can use it as a light jacket. You can also wrap it around your waist if you get cold.
