My sister and I both love Buccellati, so we've collected similar pieces, ordering them from Italian jewelers. These are handmade pieces from a jewelry store that also handles imported goods, crafted in the Buccellati style. They were made by a craftsman who trained in an Italian workshop and has created many award-winning pieces for international jewelry contests. I'm listing this ring at my sister's request. The back features the distinctive Buccellati-style engraved lines. The jeweler's gemologist, a G.G. from the Gemological Institute of America, selected the highest-grade Burmese rubies and melee diamonds. The rubies are said to be the color of pigeon's blood, the highest color grade, and they truly are a beautiful color. The ring is stamped PT950, R0.84 for the ruby, and D0.84 for the diamonds. It weighs 10.2g, is approximately 9.5mm wide, and is size 13. It's only been worn a few times and looks like new to me. It has been ultrasonically cleaned by the jeweler. It comes with a gem identification report from the Japan Gem Science Association. If the size isn't right, resizing is apparently very difficult, but the jeweler where it was purchased can do it for a fee. Please consult with them. Please refrain from purchasing if you are overly sensitive to imperfections.
