About Colmena Type II The new travel photography bag, Colmena Type II, was born from a collaboration between photographer and writer Toru Sawamura and Acru designer Tomoyuki Shinohara. This project started about a year ago, and after repeated trial and error, it finally took shape as a camera bag. It was shaped while balancing functionality and feel. The Colmena Type II is the first bag in Acru's camera bag lineup to use a two-tiered internal structure. It has the largest capacity among Acru camera bags. There are various ways to use the two-tiered structure, for example, when traveling alone. The lower tier can hold the next day's clothes and skincare products for use at your accommodation. Above that, you can store your camera, lenses, and wallet, which you frequently take out during your trip. The cushioned top and bottom dividers can also be adjusted in height. Please use them according to the height of your camera and clothes. If you're concerned about security, you might want to store your camera in the lower tier as well. The fabric and leather have a vintage-like finish, giving it a masculine appearance. The fabric uses a special bio-processing method, which uses enzymes to soften the fabric without damaging it, giving it a worn-in look. This is combined with crack leather. The surface has a unique appearance, with slightly brownish scratches and cracks that are not found in other leathers. The appearance of the cracks will change as you use it.
