Thank you for your interest. This is a guinomi (sake cup) by Eiji Kotani. Eiji Kotani, the son of Shinzo Kotani, the founder of Kurashiki Glass, inherited his father's techniques. The works of both father and son are known as "Kotani Blue," a captivating, deep blue color. I purchased this at a solo exhibition I happened to come across while walking around Tokyo. I used it once when I bought it, but I don't drink much alcohol, so I've just been displaying it since then. I'd like to pass it on to someone who will use it.
