This is a girl's ceremonial kimono for Hatsumiyamairi (a Shinto shrine visit celebrating a newborn's first month of life). It's a vibrant red kimono with a traditional design of a palanquin (goshoguruma) and flowers. It was used for photography. There are a few places where the strings have frayed, and they have been hand-sewn and repaired. There are stains on the inside of the juban (undershirt), but they are not visible during photography. Please check the photos. If you are concerned, please refrain from purchasing. Unlike polyester, it is made of silk, so it feels comfortable and has a crispness when worn. Please consider the hat and bib as a bonus. There are fold wrinkles on the sleeves, but they will disappear if you iron them with a pressing cloth.
