This is a smelt rod I purchased when I went smelt fishing with my child. The rod is a Prox SSS, and it's easy for children to feel the bites, so they were catching quite a few. The tip can also be stored, making it easy to carry. The reels are Prox and Daiwa Christia. They cost about 8,000 yen in total. I think it's a good deal because the selling price on Amazon is just under 4,500 yen for a set. I've only used it for about 3 hours, but please check the images before purchasing.
