Specialized in folklore science, spent half his life wandering the mountains and fields researching the sex of remote folk cultures, even founding a mountaineering club. In 1956, became a curator of the Ministry of Education, and established Japan's first and foremost officially recognized sex folklore museum, and has since devoted himself to the thorough education of a pure society as the deputy director of the museum.
