This is a slide for a trombone made by Edwards, an American manufacturer. It fits tenor-bass trombones such as the T350-E. Large bore. The outer tubes are yellow brass, and the crook is nickel silver. Also, this appears to be an off-spec version, different from the standard TBC-N. It seems this slide was made to match the Edwards T350-HB for Toby Oft, principal trombone player of the Boston Symphony Orchestra (according to the previous owner). Unlike the standard TBC-N, there are no engravings on the exterior. Also, the construction of the slide tip (near the crook) is different from the standard, but the details are unknown. In my personal opinion, the playing feel is not significantly different from the standard TBC-N, and you can play with a moderate amount of resistance. Regarding the condition, it has been adjusted, so there are no problems with the slide movement. There is lacquer wear in the areas that are touched by hand, and some lacquer wear on the outer tube near the water key. Please check the photos. A mouthpiece receiver is not included, so it cannot be played as is. Please prepare an Edwards one. Also, Edwards slides are compatible with Bach trombones and will fit. (Edwards slides are slightly shorter than Bach slides.) Please note that they are not compatible with GETZEN 3047 series trombones, which are related companies. I am selling this because I have found another slide that I prefer to use. I will pack it in a cardboard box with cushioning material and ship it to prevent any accidents.
