This is the Anthony McGill model signature mouthpiece released last year by Backun. New price: 39,930 yen. I acquired this used and played it once after testing it. The previous owner also used it only a few times. Overall, it's in beautiful condition with no scratches. This mouthpiece is like a hybrid between the BD4 and B40. The sound produced truly replicates Anthony McGill's sound. The rails are thick, so it seems to work well with Légère reeds. I try out new mouthpieces for research when they come out, and I've been impressed with the quality of Backun's signature series.
