Third Generation Harutsai Maeda Born in 1964 as the eldest son of Yaho Maeda, the third generation. Eighth generation of the Maeda family. In 1982, he apprenticed under his father and studied Kaga Maki-e under the tutelage of Yoshinari Hoya, a disciple of Homin Uematsu.
