It's a rare birdcage clock with a glass case. The clock is functional (verified on February 1, 2026), and when you turn the screw on the back of the base, a lovely little bird rotates with a "tick-tock, tick-tock..." sound. It also has a timer, and when the set time is reached, it's supposed to chime "Chiriririririn♪", but unfortunately, I couldn't remember how to set it... I haven't checked the accuracy of the clock, so it's unknown. The sound of the mechanical movement echoing in the silence is pleasant and evokes a nostalgic feeling. The details such as the country of origin and the age are unknown, but I believe it's quite old. Despite its age, it's in very good condition overall, and you can feel that the original owner cherished it. There are some discoloration, minor scratches, and rust due to aging, but that adds to the charm as an antique item. The glass has distortions and small air bubbles characteristic of old glass. The base also has a hammered pattern, and you can feel the warmth of the craftsman's handiwork, with attention to detail. It has a hook, so you can hang it from above. It was one of my favorites, but I'm selling it as part of my decluttering.
