The lining is cotton, so it should be comfortable and not sticky with sweat. It has pockets. The pin tucks and scalloped lace at the hem are gorgeous. The fabric is sturdy, so it can be worn as a single layer, or as a petticoat in the winter. I've worn it about twice. I took too good care of it and didn't use it much.
