This is a handmade Maneki Neko (beckoning cat) made from repurposed silk crepe fabric. I made this Maneki Neko while creating a tapestry of various pressed crepe crafts. I added a frame so it can be displayed on a wall or elsewhere. The base fabric is also repurposed crepe. The frame was originally white, but I painted it brown myself. The Maneki Neko is approximately 16 cm tall. The frame size is approximately 27 cm tall and 22 cm wide.
