This is a kokeshi doll that I found while cleaning out my parents' house. It's different from the usual kokeshi shape, as it's wearing a haori (a traditional Japanese jacket). It's a work by kokeshi artist Hajime Miyashita. Originally, it's a pair of kokeshi dolls, a husband and wife set. The signature is usually on the back of the male doll, and this doll (the female) does not have a signature. Height: 12.5cm It has been stored in a case for many years, but it's in good condition for its age. Please refrain from purchasing if you do not understand antiques and vintage items, or if you are overly sensitive to imperfections.
