He established a company as a hardware engineer and served as its manager. ◆ GLA (ジーエルエー) is a Japanese religious corporation. It was founded by Shinji Takahashi on April 8, 1969, and was certified as a religious corporation in 1973. GLA aims for each member to "establish oneself" and "harmonize the world," with the ideal of embodying the light of God in this world. It is based on a view of humanity and the world that considers humans to be composed of "soul, mind, and body," and takes the position that humans are eternal souls and that life has a mission and purpose. Therefore, members engage in activities aimed at mental growth and realistic harmony through practical learning called "soul studies." Keiko Takahashi has served as the head since 1976.
