I bought this from a website overseas about two years ago. It was not sold in Japan, so it cost over ten thousand yen at the time. When you press the button, Thomas speaks and sings cheerfully. It speaks not only when you press the button on the front, but also when you press the red and green switches on the top. Of course, it's all in English.
