Founded in Bordeaux, France in 1845 by Jules Vieillard, it was one of the ceramic manufacturers that received high praise in France in the late 19th century. The kiln closed at the end of the 1800s, and because it only existed for a short period (about 60 years), the number of items manufactured was small, and few remain. It is a masterpiece that has many collectors even in France. Please enjoy the exceptional dignity and overwhelming presence♪ It is in good condition for an antique item. There are almost no cutlery scratches and no feeling of use. There is a small stain on the central rim and a slight crazing. Overall, it is in very beautiful condition. It has become even more beautiful and radiant over a long period of time. *Crazing is a condition of the surface glaze that occurred during manufacturing or over time, and is not damage (cracks).
