This is a Toyama Natsume (tea caddy) by Soka Arai, a traditional Kaga Maki-e artisan. It comes with a handwritten inscription by the 15th Urasenke Grand Master, Hounsai. The Toyama Maki-e design features a nashiji (pear skin) interior.
