Through the former detective in charge of the girl's protection, the girl's family who have lost contact, and a deaf-mute woman who last saw the girl, Hyun-soo learns that the girl was a key witness in a criminal case. Hyun-soo, who is pained by the girl's days of suffering in solitude and empathizes with her situation, delves deeper into the investigation, defying her superiors' orders. The director and screenwriter is Park Ji-wan, making her feature film debut with this work.
