The DDR is a combined effects pedal that combines the most common "distortion" and "delay or reverb" used by guitarists into a single enclosure. In the drive section, which adds distortion, you can select two styles, crunch and lead, with the STYLE switch. When crunch style is selected, you can get a gritty British-style sound, and when lead style is selected, you can get a warm, dark, mid-range-pushed overdrive sound. In the wet section, which consists of delay/reverb, you can select two types of characters with the Vintage/Modern switch. When reverb is selected, you can switch between spring reverb and plate reverb, and when delay is selected, you can switch between sounds with the characteristics of analog delay and digital delay.
