These are truly vintage. I've worn them maybe 10 times. They're in relatively good condition compared to the others I own. I'm selling them at this price because I'm willing to part with them in this state. I'm listing them because I want you to read the following. Let me talk a bit about them. RICKY is my personal favorite True Religion design (straight cut). I had three pairs of this particular denim. Two of them are now completely worn out. I've mended those two with a sewing machine countless times and kept wearing them. True Religion's fabric isn't the best to begin with, so sometimes they rip when you take them off, especially if you step on them. Now, here's the important part: There are many fakes on flea market sites. Sometimes the tags don't match the design, and sometimes they're incredibly well-made. They can be so good that I'd consider buying a fake for under 5000 yen if the design and condition are good enough. If the tags and design don't match, it's 100% fake. The methods for spotting fakes online are sometimes only helpful, and sometimes completely unreliable. The safest option is to buy from an authorized retailer or something with the original invoice. You might not be able to trust imported goods otherwise. Fakes are even sold in America. Parallel imports are the most concerning. It's best not to buy used, but it's different for vintage items. I don't know about the newer items, but I bought these at the Omotesando shop, so I know about the ones from that time. I even know the staff who worked there back then. First of all, especially for young people, I recommend buying a genuine pair from an authorized retailer at least once. You can't talk about authenticity unless you know the real thing. It's not that they're good because famous people wear them; it's that various people wear them because they're good. But True Religion's material is really bad, and with the flap pockets, the area between the pockets tears easily. Be extremely careful when taking them off. Thank you for reading.
