It was over 15 years ago that I had the opportunity to purchase a part of the Laura Ashley antique collection. These are genuine British antiques that were not sold in regular stores. Based on information from other antiques I acquired at the same time, they are believed to be from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. This is a large antique copper bucket. The handle is made of heavy cast iron, making it very sturdy. It weighs over 2 kilograms. Although it is heavy, it can still be used as a bucket. It's a versatile item that can be used for display indoors or in the garden, as a pot cover, or for storing gardening tools and other items. Although it doesn't have a hammered finish, its simplicity gives it a rugged, masculine coolness. There are scratches and discoloration on the surface, but there are no chips or cracks. I have intentionally not polished the copper.
