This is a Japanese-style rain coat. It has a modern design with a navy blue base and red-purple (possibly) grass patterns. It was in my parents' chest of drawers and appears to have been used very little. It was custom-made. There is no material label. It is likely a water-repellent synthetic fiber. The texture is smooth but firm. I am not knowledgeable about kimonos. I may not be able to answer all your questions.
