Purchased three years ago. Gold-plated inner rim. The mouthpiece was adjusted in Tokyo. The lines on the rim surface and the part that touches the lips are marks left over from the adjustment. There were no problems with actual use. I used it for about a year, but decided it didn't fit me, so I'm putting it up for sale.
