This is a plastic model kit of the MCS8, a machine from the All Japan Grand Championship Series, planned and released by Mr. Craft/Modelers, a model shop in Ebisu, Tokyo, which symbolized the bubble economy. It is the 88S of the Leyton House team, which was driven by Masanori Sekiya, a veteran of the Japanese racing world, and was active in the 1988 All Japan Grand Champion Series. This is a kit from the old Modelers, released in 1989. The actual MCS8 was developed based on the 1987 F3000 machine (Lola T87-50), and the kit is also based on the Lola T87-50 made by the old Modelers, faithfully reproducing the actual car. It is a full kit that precisely reproduces the F3000 monocoque and radiator, and comes with a Tamiya-made Cosworth V8 engine. The tires show no signs of melting or deterioration and retain a certain elasticity. The markings have been stored separately for many years, so they are relatively clean for their age, but it is unknown whether they can be used as is because they are old decals. Since it is unlikely that it will be re-released due to the bankruptcy of Modelers, how about it for those who were looking for it?
