This film is a culmination of the "Wolf Mountain Series" in recent years, starting with the short film "Smoke Signals" released in 2019, followed by "Day of Destruction" and "All Seppuku." Starring Yosuke Kubozuka and Ryuhei Matsuda, it depicts a grand chase that transcends time and space, involving a missing ascetic and an assassin hired to search for him. The solitary ascetic, Rosuke Yamanaka, disappears after visiting the home of the dangerous religious figure, Ajari. The assassin, Fuu Nii, is asked by Yamanaka's lover, Nonoka, to search for him and begins to track Yamanaka's whereabouts. Eventually, the two are guided by a conch shell and meet at Wolf Mountain, confronting each other in a cave of mirrors that transcends dimensions. Racing from the past to the present and into the future, the two journey from Japan to Earth and even into space. Yosuke Kubozuka plays the ascetic Yamanaka, Ryuhei Matsuda plays the assassin Nii, Junichi Chihara plays Ajari, and Haruka Imou plays Nonoka.
