This piece is made by connecting old indigo-dyed cotton fabric, katazome (stencil-dyeing), kasuri (ikat), and stripes with safflower cotton as an accent, and sandwiching bleached cotton in between. The reverse side features cute Kurume kasuri, which are sewn together with sky-blue sashiko stitching.
