Melvill & Moon is a luxury outdoor brand from South Africa based on the "retro safari" style. The brand's motto/design philosophy is "Laudator Temporis Acti (Praiser of Times Past)." They aim to imbue their products with the aesthetics of "the bygone era of expeditions and adventures." They are particular about materials, using heavy cotton canvas and leather, brass zippers and buckles, aiming for products that "can be used beyond time." I fell in love with it during my trip and purchased it, but I am now decluttering due to minimalism, so I am offering it for sale. It is a beautiful item, used only indoors. Width 18cm | Depth 6cm | Height 22cm | Weight 0.6kg Made of thick 510g cotton canvas (100%) and oil-impregnated pull-up finish cowhide. It has a lined interior with an inner pocket, a brass YKK zipper, and sturdy buckles. As a bonus, I will include the South African beaded flag keychain shown in photo 12. This was purchased at a souvenir shop inside a safari park. I believe those who like brands that make robust products like Filson will find something appealing about this.
