This is a work by Mr. Kan Sato of "Toga, Toraku," a kiln in Aizu-Hongo. After the Boshin War, the first Seiji opened the kiln, and the fourth generation seems to have switched from white porcelain to pottery. Mr. Kan Sato, a traditional craftsman, seems to create works that convey the warmth and comfort of the earth, with a simple, gentle texture and calm colors. He has been selected for numerous craft exhibitions and has also been selected for the Nitten exhibition many times. As you can see in the photo, I think it's a beautiful free cup that conveys the warmth of the simple and gentle earth. I wonder if it can also be used as a beer cup? I found some materials related to "Toga, Toraku," so I've included them in the last two photos. I took it out of the box and displayed it on the sideboard unused. There are absolutely no scratches or stains. I am selling it to declutter. Thank you very much.
