Each piece is individually hand-carved in 3D by jade carving artisans from Fuxin, China, a town known for its jade craftsmanship, taking into account the unique characteristics of each jade piece. This pendant uses a gradient of orange and white jadeite. It is a rare and valuable piece, appearing yellow when illuminated by light. The peony flower is meticulously carved, creating a wearable work of art, a pendant born from the jadeite created by nature and the delicate carving of the artisan. Jadeite is said to be a "gemstone that grows in color," becoming more beautiful the more it is worn. This is because the oils from the skin enhance the luster of the jadeite's surface. While skin oils are usually the enemy of gemstones, it's the opposite for jadeite.
