This is a book of conversations between Mr. Uematsu, who is said to be the model for the TV drama "Shitamachi Rocket," and Mr. Shimizu, the owner of the bookstore "Dokusho no Susume," which only stocks books that he personally likes and does not carry bestsellers (Mr. Shimizu passed away in June 2025). It's encouraging to read when you're starting something new and worried that what you've done so far has been in vain. It's easy to read because it's a conversation book, and you can clearly understand the thoughts of the two. I read it once and it's been on my bookshelf, so it's in good condition.
