It was also fine to wear under a ceremonial kimono for a newborn during a cold season's Hatsumode (first shrine visit of the year)! It's in a clean condition with no noticeable stains or damage. The elephant pattern was worn for sleeping, and has a little wear and tear. Both will be outgrown quickly, but I think they will be useful for babies born in winter.
