This is an old Nagoya obi. It has a striking, vivid pink color with large lilies, giving it a powerful presence. There is also some embroidery on the tare (the part that hangs down) and the otaiko (the back) section. Because the colors are so bright, stains are noticeable on the pink areas. There are also some areas on the edges of the otaiko section where the surface fabric is worn and has holes. It has an antique-like color and pattern, so would someone like to use it for remaking?
