RED is a high-gain distortion pedal using multiple op-amps and clipping circuits. The BASS, MIDDLE, and TREBLE parameters are active EQ, allowing for quite aggressive and intuitive sound creation. Despite being a high-gain distortion, you can create a wide range of sounds, from overdrive by lowering the GAIN to a distortion that doesn't get muddy even at maximum gain. We've created a versatile distortion pedal that can produce satisfying solo sounds with emphasized mids, clear metal sounds even with drop tunings, and sounds that blend well in ensembles like rock and pop. Perfect for modern high-gain sounds, and as your main distortion. *We recommend using it with 18V due to the sound quality and circuit characteristics.
