This is the standard version of our workshop's original all-carbide scraper, S size. It's a palm-sized tool, smaller than general scrapers. It's used for polishing work, such as shaving off precious metals, but in the case of scrapers, it's often used for detailed work where a buff cannot reach, so we've made it smaller. The scraper is a versatile tool, and it's highly praised for plastic models as well. The tip is extremely sharp, so it can also be used for pre-carving fine lines with the tip. We also make separate ones for extremely fine line carving on plastic models, but it can also be used in conjunction for marking on plastic models using the tip (approx. 28°). Also, our workshop's scrapers are not exclusive to engraving or plastic models. In the case of high-speed steel, the corners don't stand out like carbide, so you have to sharpen it at a sharp angle to cut resin. Also, unless it's a mirror-finished corner, it will be like a fine saw blade. Therefore, high-speed steel scrapers for plastic models tend to snag and become rough. For cutting tools, the material is of course important, but the level of sharpening work is also crucial. Our basic scraper is finished with a mirror-finished corner at an angle close to a right angle of 85°, so it can smoothly shave regardless of the object, whether it's metal or resin. I personally make these, pursuing greater practicality, and they have a wide range of uses. Also, it's a popular product with many opinions saying it's easy to use and valuable. This is an offering of the cost-effective SSD (S size standard) version. Made from the highest quality domestic carbide, so there are no solder marks. Naturally, it is a purely domestic product.
