☆ The cloth zori made by my mother are characterized by their elaborate and sturdy weaving compared to general cloth zori. They are very comfortable to wear, and the stimulation to the soles of the feet is exquisite (^-^).
Unlike shoes, cloth zori are worn with the thong, not the heel, so even if they are slightly large or small, the fabric will conform to your feet as you wear them.
☆ Cloth zori stimulate and strengthen your toes and soles, promoting foot health. They are also ideal for those with bunions or those whose feet tend to swell. Just by wearing and walking in them, you naturally learn how to use your soles correctly. Your feet will feel cool in the summer and warm in the winter, making them comfortable to wear in any season.
My 80-year-old mother, who has been teaching knitting since she was young, became fascinated with cloth zori about 20 years ago after learning from someone considered a pioneer in cloth zori. She has been teaching how to make them for the past 15 years.
She makes original cloth zori using various fabrics such as bolts of cloth, kimono, yukata, cotton, linen, and wool.
Because they are handmade, the length, width, and shape may be asymmetrical. We appreciate your understanding of handmade items. m(__)m
If they get dirty, you can put them in a laundry net and wash them.
Each pair is one-of-a-kind due to the original color combinations.
