Minolta Autocord is up for sale. The deteriorated leatherette has been replaced. Commercially available leatherette for Autocord was used. The price has been increased from the previous listing due to the purchase of the leatherette. Although I haven't taken photos, I've performed the same work as shown in the photos of the Autocord currently listed. A dummy film and spool are included, so you can immediately practice loading film and check the operation. The dummy film doesn't have the film itself, but it has backing paper, so you can load it as usual. Also, after winding, you can rewind it onto the empty spool and practice repeatedly. Shutter mechanism disassembled, cleaned, graphite applied, and lubricated. Governor cleaned and lubricated. Viewfinder and mirror cleaned. There is some deterioration on the mirror, but I judge it to be at a practical level. Lens fully cleaned. Helicoid grease replaced. Winding operation confirmed with dummy film. Infinity focus confirmed and adjusted for both the viewing and taking lenses. The shutter speed changes across all speeds. Although the accuracy is unknown, there is no significant sense of incongruity. The shutter and aperture blades are smooth. The helicoid is also smooth. The winding lever, film counter, and self-timer are also smooth. The lens has been fully cleaned, but there are minor scratches and coating damage commensurate with its age. As accessories, I'm including the original lens cap and two vintage filters. The Minolta Autocord is easy to handle and has a reputation for good image quality. Recently, the Autocord has been increasing in price. I would like to offer it at a lower price, but please understand. It is a well-regarded camera among twin-lens reflex cameras, but there is, of course, a high possibility of various malfunctions. This is within the scope of my personal hobby, but I have cleaned and adjusted it thoroughly. Please use 120mm medium format film. It is available on Amazon, etc. It produces 6x6 square photos. You may be able to have it developed at a local photo store. It's a tough environment with rising film prices, but please enjoy slow film photography. Please consider the age of the camera when bidding. Initial defects will be covered. Thank you.
