There is a hood inside the stand-up collar. I bought this a few years ago, but it was a bit too big, and I've kept it at home without ever using it. I removed the paper tags, but I only tried it on indoors when I bought it. The size is "S," but L.L.Bean tends to run large, and I think it's between "L" and "XL" in Japanese sizes.
