This is a summer obi made of ro (a type of silk gauze). It's a pink-toned obi with bird patterns in silver thread, and because it's a maru obi (round obi), one side is a seamless fukuro obi (lined obi). Suitable for ro, sha (another type of silk gauze), and single-layered kimonos. It's woven on both sides, so it has a good stiffness and is quite thick for a summer obi. There are almost no noticeable fold marks or stains, but there is some discoloration (whitish) just above the taiko pattern (the part that sits on the back). This is a rare maru obi for summer, so if you unravel it, it's wide and long, making it suitable for hobbies and remaking!
