This is a set of three Goshuin (temple seals) from Moriko Daimonjin Shrine, a center for Takizawa Shugen practices in the worship of Mount Chokai. Moriko Daimonjin Shrine requires a climb of approximately 300 steep stone steps from the first torii gate to the main hall. The shrine grounds are surrounded by Akita cedar trees that stretch straight up to the sky, creating a sacred atmosphere. It is said to resemble the shrine where Eiji Sawakita, the ace of Sannoh Kogyo High School in the movie "THE FIRST SLAM DUNK," visited. This quiet center of Shugen practice is attracting attention as a sacred place for anime fans both in Japan and abroad. The main hall has a (self-service) counter to count visitors, with four types for Japan, Korea, China, Thailand, and English-speaking countries (in order of placement), indicating that many worshippers visit. Many bear sightings are being updated daily on the HP of Akita Prefecture and Yurihonjo City. Due to this situation, the trip was changed, reducing the number of nights. For the shrine visit, a 30-minute walk from Maego Station on the Yuri Kogen Railway to the shrine was planned, but due to the high possibility of encountering a bear, we went to the site by car for safety reasons. During the visit, I wore bear repellent goods. The fact that I was able to visit safely, I believe, is in a way a blessing from Moriko Daimonjin Shrine.
