This is a wide-necked type designed for those who want a rounded and generously open collar. This is a beauty collar made from new sarashi (bleached cotton cloth). Compared to beauty collars that are just the collar, this one has a front and back panel, making it less likely to slip, and the sarashi provides good breathability. An emon-nuki (collar clip) is not included. It can be used for single-layer kimonos to combat the heat, and of course, it can be used all season for lined kimonos as well. Attach a han-eri (collar lining) and insert a collar core, just like with a juban (under-kimono).
