The reason for this is that the prices of all our raw materials (reeds, rattan, hat wood, gas cylinders, and blueprints) have increased. We have made this decision reluctantly. We have been selling at the previous price until now, and we would appreciate your understanding regarding this price increase. We look forward to your continued patronage. In relation to Gagaku (Japanese court music), we are offering Hichiriki reeds, Hichiriki paulownia boxes with lacquer finish, Hichiriki tubes with lacquer finish that can store reeds with the Hichiriki inside, and Ryuteki (flute) tubes with lacquer finish. Everything is handmade by my father-in-law, so it may take some time to produce. We are from a Gagaku family. My siblings and I play the Hichiriki, Sho (mouth organ), Koto (zither), and Kakko (double-headed drum), and by chance, I practice the Ryuteki. My siblings and I sometimes perform together at funerals. I am selling these items on behalf of my father-in-law, who makes them by hand. However, in the unlikely event of a defective product, please contact us before leaving a review. Also, regarding the sale of reeds, there are some reeds that are considered "B-grade" during production (they don't significantly affect playing, but they may have cosmetic imperfections). We may include one as a service when shipping, if available. ● About Shipping ● Items shipped via standard mail will be sent directly from the post office.
