Purchased from an antique jewelry shop in France. These are lever-back earrings, where the hook goes through the front of the earlobe. They feature a cluster design, also known as cluster earrings, with an amethyst at the center surrounded by pearls. Some of the pearls have different colors or conditions, suggesting they may have been repaired (replaced) at some point. Metal: 18k (Faded, but has the eagle head hallmark indicating French 18k gold or higher) Circa 1920s *Earrings only, no certificate of authenticity or box included. *I have worn these a few times, and they were wearable, but the tightness of the clasps is subjective. As these are quite old, there is some distortion and discoloration. They are not perfect, so please check the photos for details of the condition.
