It's a convenient zoom lens that covers from wide-angle to mid-telephoto, reaching up to 135mm telephoto without stopping. When used with the EOS R system, "peripheral illumination correction," "distortion aberration correction," and the Digital Lens Optimizer (DLO) effect can be automatically applied within the camera. In addition, the focus accuracy is improved compared to when using a single-lens reflex camera.
