This is a 1996 championship color SHOEI Norifumi Abe #9 Marlboro X-8V replica helmet (with signature).
It is believed to be a rare item manufactured in the month of the championship.
I watched Mr. Abe racing on YouTube.
My grandfather displayed it for ornamental purposes, and it seems it was also used.

There is damage due to aging.
In particular, the chin strap cover is tattered, so I temporarily protected it with tape.
*Even after using a lint roller, the deteriorated parts kept falling off.
