It has elegance and charm, and is a lovely cup & saucer. The basic way to wash Aizu lacquerware is by hand. (Detergent and sponge are also OK) You can also use dish soap and a soft sponge. For items other than oily foods, it's sufficient to wash them quickly with lukewarm water and your hands. I hope to deliver this to someone who appreciates it.
