This is a compact, sleeveless dress from Marimekko. The pattern is called ROOPERTTI, and it's a lovely design with a Scandinavian feel and a touch of Japanese aesthetic. It's made of smooth cotton sateen fabric, which is comfortable to wear. It also has a lining, so it's not see-through. It's recommended for small parties, but you can wear it year-round by layering with a long cardigan or hoodie, or by wearing a cut-and-sew top or turtleneck underneath. Wear it on its own in the summer! I think it suits people of all ages. I fell in love with it a few years ago and bought it, but it no longer fits, so it's been sitting in my closet.
